Opportunity Teacher

Description: The responsibility of the Opportunity teacher is to create a learning environment where students with learning challenges can unlock their hidden potential and achieve academic success, using research-based multisensory instruction, and provide students in the Opportunity Program with mild to moderate learning challenges in the area of dyslexia, visual & auditory processing, ADHD, High-Functioning Autism.

Requirements:

Hold a valid California Teaching Credential and/or possess a Resource Specialist Clear Certificate of Competency or be in the process of attaining one; or meet requirements to qualify for a Preliminary Resources Specialist Certificate of Competency; and hold a valid Special Education Teaching Credential.

Substitute Teachers

Description: Arcadia Christian School is currently taking applications for substitute teachers. Applicants will be processed in August and September. Those selected will receive training on a date to be determined.   • Credential and experience preferred.
  • Fingerprint clearance is required of those applicants selected to substitute at ACS.
