Going Through The Years Of ACS

Preschool...

I remember humming outloud to myself, and then I was told to 'shhh', hehe. I remember building with legos, and making paper hats, and looking at colorful pictures.

Kindergarten...

I remember I made a friend called Maika, and we became best friends.

I was able to read fast with my dalmation books that were given to me by Mrs. Lofftus.

I remember her very well. She was always cheerful.

Only one time did she tell me to be quiet nicely when I was messing around during nap time.

First Grade...

I remember I got bullied a bit...but in the end, teachers helped me. I got through the bullying, with the help of some of my old classmates.

I remember Mrs. VanHulzen reading out a book, and us drawing on large drawing paper about what we would want when we get older.

I definitely remember I did the wrong thing, hehe!

I was meant to draw a car, so I did. That was after my mistake, hehe.

Second Grade...

I remember I had my operation, and things were nerve wrecking for a while. But in the end, I got through it, and was able to feel like anyone else. I remember Mrs. Taylor taught us how to write in cursive better. I liked that.

Third Grade...

I remember Mrs. Leander catching me in my cursive handwriting, hehe! I was so bored at being slow at doing cursive handwriting, that I didn't bother to join all the letters, and she smiled and said 'Rachel...=P'

I remember I had friend problems, who to go with who, but again, in the end, she helped me out, and I was able to be friends with both of them.

Fourth Grade...

I remember I got a detention, but I learnt from it. And now, I am not like that anymore.

I am sure Mr. Blankenship remembers telling me to not let anyone else copy my work. Hehe.

I remember this boy, whom I helped through bullying. That was good. Helping someone. And through the years, we became good friends.(smiles)

Fifth Grade...

I remember my 5th grade teacher's wedding she invited us all to.

I remember doing that golden seal print on my 'old' letter that I created and crumpled up to make it look old and as if it came from the history times.

I remember doing that nature activity, and hearing birds chirping from the radio, on a cd.

Sixth Grade...

My final year..sadly...

I remember all of us (me and my classmates) seeing who could do talented things with their tongues. One could turn their tongue all the way around, another one could do a hotdog, etc.

I remember reading passages from the Bible, and discussing about God. We also did skits, and I remember mine very well.

My one was about sharing and giving. That was wonderful.

Sadly...I also remember the leaving part (sad face). I remember seeing Mrs. Leander, my sixth grade teacher as well as my third grade one, trying not to cry, and my sister was right next to me crying her eyes out, because she didn't want to leave lovely ACS. We said our farewells, and then left...forever..(sad face)

And now, I live in Wales (UK), attending another school, where it's totally different from ACS...
