Carline Guidelines
CARLINE PASS/SAFETY GUIDELINES
To keep all students, parents, staff, and visitors safe and to provide parking for designated groups, I agree to abide by the following guidelines. I understand that after one warning I may be asked to forfeit my pass and be required to park off-campus.
GUIDLINES
- Drive at a maximum speed of 10 mph.
- Eliminate all reasonable distractions.
- Cell phones
- Eating or drinking
- Reading
- Taking eyes off the road or turning around to deal with something inside car
- Abide by all parking guidelines.
- Only preschool in main lot during drop-off, 8:15-8:45. After 8:45 it is OK to park in main lot.
- Never parking in red zones, cafeteria spots, in front of gates, handicapped without authorization.
- Only Kindergarten or by special permission in front of quonset huts for drop-off.
- Never leave your car with the engine running or with children inside.
- Place your vehicle in Park and set the brake when children are entering or exiting. Pull away cautiously and out of carline to secure seat belts/car seats.
- Obey all directions given by carline staff. Do not talk to teachers or other parents.
Only parents or their designated adult guardians may request a pass and drive on campus. Each driver must sign an agreement. High school age drivers are not allowed on campus during drop-off/pick-up times.

CARLINE REMINDERS
All parents cannot come at 2:55-3:00PM (or 11:25-11:30AM). The congestion blocks Santa Anita causing unsafe driving conditions. Please abide by the following times if at all possible.
| Kindergarten – 2nd | 2:55-3:05PM |
| 3rd Grade | 3:05 - 3:10PM |
| 4th - 5th Grade | 3:10 - 3:20PM |
| 6th - 8th Grade | 3:10 - 3:20PM on First Ave. |
Parking on 1st Avenue – Only park beyond south gate or on Wistaria. The junior high needs the entire area between Lemon Ave. and the south gate.
Multiple children/grades: The oldest child is your pick-up time, i.e., If you have a 5 th, 2 nd, and Kindergartner, then please arrive between 3:10-3:20PM.
