K-8th Supply Lists for 2010-2011 school year

  • Backpack – standard size able to hold 12x9 inch folder, lunch box and jacket.
  • Resting towel – small

1st Grade
  • (1) sock to hold dry erase markers
  • (1) 4 pack of fine tip dry erase markers 
  • (16 or 24) crayons

  • (3) large Elmer glue sticks
  • (2) erasers (White Magic Rub)
  • (2) Pocket folders (no binders, please)

2nd Grade

  • NIV Discoverer's Bible (Pub. Date: July 2002) may purchase at Barnes & Noble 
  • (1) regular size boxes of tissues (Kleenex)
  • Pencil box or container for keeping scissors, crayons, etc. 
  • Small pencil sharpener with cover for students use at desk 
  • Items for Bible Lessons: old toothbrush, plastic strawberry basket, baby picure of student, current photo of student (last year's school picture would work, too!), photo of student with family, (Most of these pictures will be used in craft projects for our Bible curriculum).
  • Water bottle
  • Old sock for dry erase board
  • Composition Book - Ruled
  • Optional: Scissors

3rd Grade
  • N.I.V. Discoverer's Bible (Pub. Date: July 2002) may purchase at Barnes & Noble
  • 2 inch 3-ring binder   
  • (1) regular size box of tissues (Kleenex)
  • (24) crayons
  • (24) colored pencils 
  • (8-10) markers, washable
  • (3) folders with pockets 
  • (12) pencils, sharpened before school begins
  • (2) good quality erasers 
  • (3) highlighters of different colors 
  • (1) old sock and (3) dry erase markers
  • (2) large glue sticks
  • Set of 5 notebook dividers labeled: Bible, Spelling, Reading, History and Math
  • (2) book covers, non-adhesive
  • (1) your own water bottle 
  • Small bottle of sanitizer

4th Grade
  • N.I.V. Discoverer's Bible (Pub Date: July 2002) may purchase at Barnes & Noble
  • Book covers:  at least (5), non-adhesive (strong paper bags are best; or stretch covers.) Paper bags do not need to be bought to school; they will be done at home.  Stretch covers can be brought to school. 
  • (2) 1-1/2  inch notebook with hard cover, durable/heavy duty. At least one must be a hard cover, clear view binder.
  • (1) Pencil pouch or pencil box
  • Dividers.  Please purchase the plastic, write on, as opposed to paper/slide in labels.  Please label before school starts using a permanent marker: (1) set of 5: Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5/6.  (1) Set of 8: Spelling, Writing, Reading, Grammar, Math, Bible,  Social Studies, Science.
  • Wide-ruled loose-leaf notebook paper (3 -hole), 600-800 sheets.  Please leave in plastic wrapping.
  • (2) Composition books 9 ¾ x 7 ½, 100 sheets, wide-ruled
  • (2-3) Erasers (Magic Rub or other good eraser)
  • (2) dozen #2 pencils (good quality).  Sharpened before the 1st day of school.
  • (6) Erasable ink-pens (blue/black) 
  • (2) Green ink-pens (do not need to be erasable) 
  • (1) 16/24 box of crayons and (1) pack of 12 colored pencils (regular colors).  Please purchase both.  No markers please. 
  • (1) Package of small tip dry erase markers (of at least 3 pens.)  No large tip pens.  Please do not bring white board cleaning spray.

6th Grade

  • Ball point pens: black, blue & green only (non clicking)
  • (2) whiteboard markers (blue and black only)
  • Whiteboard eraser or sock 
  • (2) binders 1 1/2 inch (Math/Science, English/History) with (6) subject dividers and a zipper binder pouch (to hold pens and pencils)
  • College ruled loose leaf notebook paper 600-800 sheets.  Bring 1 or 2 packets to school to share - leave the rest at home.
  • Composition notebooks 9 3/4 by 7 1/2 inches, 100 sheets, 5 total
  • (2) pocket folders
  • (2) report folders with (3) prongs plastic cover
  • (1) pack 3x5 cards
  • (1) 3-hole puncher for binder
  • Colored pencils (24 pack or larger)
  • (1) pad (50 sheets) 4x4 Quadrille Ruling paper
  • N.I.V. Bible (New International Version, NIV Discoverer's Bible, Pub. Date July 2002 ok. Must be in good condition). Bible cover. No writing on binding.
  • Deodorant to be kept in P.E. locker

7th-8th-Junior High
  • Several (at least 3) #2 pencils  (Mechanical pencils are fine.)
  • Erasers
  • Ball point pens (non-clicking): black or blue (at least 2), red (at least 2)
  • Highlighters (yellow -- at least 2)
  • Pencil pouch for holding all pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, etc., which stays in binder 
  • Binders:
    • History: one 2" binder with plastic cover sleeve and 5 subject dividers
    • All other classes - one 1 1/2" or 2" binder with 5 subject divider 
  • College ruled loose leaf notebook paper, 8 1/2 by 11
  • Graph paper for Math 
  • Composition notebooks 9 3/4 by 7 1/2 inches, 100 sheets, 4 total - Math, Science (2) & Bible 
  • (1) pad (50 sheets) 4x4 Quadrille Ruling paper (Math)
  • N.I.V. Bible - (New International Version - NIV Discoverer's Bible (Pub. Date: July 2002 OK. Must be in good condition) Bible cover suggested to protect cover and binding. No writing on binding. Must have name written inside. This Bible will be left at school.
  • Deodorant to be kept in P.E. locker
