Principal Edward Limon
Since kindergarten through college, Christian education has been a vital role in the life of Mr. Limon, where he has seen the importance of biblically based academics. His journey has totally come to a full circle as he carries the passion of those before him to equip a generation to be critical thinkers and followers of Christ. Over the last twenty-seven year, Mr. Limon has served in different capacities in Northern California, serving as a Youth Pastor in the Bay Area, and an Educator in the Central Valley. In 2001 after serving at Modesto Christian for three years, Mr. Limon was asked to start the High School Bible Department at Big Valley Christian High (Modesto, CA) which allowed him to create curriculum that included apologetics with the emphasis on discipleship. For fifteen years, Mr. Limon served as a High School Bible Teacher and Department Head; thirteen years as Campus Pastor and eleven years as varsity head soccer coach for the Lady Lions. In August of 2016, the Limon family moved to Southern California, where Mr. Limon accepted a position as Dean of Students and Camps Pastor of Carnegie Schools in Riverside. In twenty-seven years, Mr. Limon has had the responsibility to train, equip and send out over 1,000 students into the marketplace to purposely live out their faith in a world looking for hope.
A native of California, Mr. Limon originally came to faith in Christ at Harbor Light Church in 1979. After graduating from Fremont Christian High School in 1986, Mr. Limon received a soccer scholarship to Vanguard University where he was a student of Religion, with the emphasis on Pastoral Ministries. In 2016, Mr. Limon received his MA from Liberty University in the field of Behavorial Science with an emphasis in Counseling.
Mr. Limon met his wife of 28 years, Angie, at Vanguard University. They have two grown children, Sherayah who is a Vanguard University alumnus, and Savannah who is currently a Junior at Vanguard University…a truce VU family affair! In addition to spending time with his family, Mr. Limon enjoys reading, landscaping, soccer and driving his 1965 VW Bug!
