Q. Is your school accredited?

A. Yes, Arcadia Christian School is accredited.  We have met or exceeded the standards of a quality school as established by two governing bodies ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International, and WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.


Q. Does my child need to be tested in order to be admitted to ACS?

A. All new students will be tested to determine appropriate grade level. New students must submit their latest report card with his/her admissions application in order to be tested. Testing is by appointment only and will be arranged by the Admissions Coordinator.

Q. What happens if my child doesn’t pass the admissions/assessment test?

A.  A conference will be held to review the results of students whose scores are outside the recommended grade level. Options include tutoring and retesting, or referral to another school.

Before- and After-School Day Care

Q. How do we paY for Kids’ Klub if we only need to utilize their services occasionally?

A. Families who use Kids’ Klub (grades k-8th) on an occasional-use basis may purchase an hourly card (good for ten hours) for $75.00. This card will be kept with Kids’ Klub staff, so that staff can log the dates and times of use. Parents may purchase hourly cards at Kids’ Klub or at the main office.

Safety and Policy

Q. How early can I drop my child off and/or how late can I pick my child up without incurring a fee?

A. Students can be dropped off after 7:45 a.m. and may be picked up before 3:30 p.m. without incurring an hourly charge.

Q. Is there a discount if I pay the entire yearly tuition in advance?

A. Yes, a $200 per child discount will be given on tuition only if payment in full is made by June 30th. This discount does not apply to Kids’ Klub fees.
Q. Are there discounts for additional children enrolled at ACS?

A. Yes, there is a 10% discount for the second child and a 20% discount for the third, fourth, fifth, etc. child.  These discount apply to students enrolled in preschool-8th grade
Q. When is tuition due?

A. Tuition is due on the 5th of the month and will be automatically deducted from your checking/savings account via FACTS Tuition Management Services.
Q. Does ACS accept credit cards for tuition payments?

A. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards for tuition payments.
Q. What is the policy regarding checks returned for non-sufficient funds, stop payments, or closed accounts?

A. There is a $25.00 fee on all returned checks.

If two checks are returned, all future tuition payments must be made by money order or cashier’s check.

Q. Can tuition be prorated to account for holidays, vacations, and/or absences due to illness?

A. Sorry, tuition and monthly fees associated with before-school/after-school child care cannot be prorated to account for holidays, vacations, and/or absences due to illness.  Tuition and monthly child care fees are calculated on the basis of the entire academic year.
