Johnny Dich didn't always know that God called on him to be an educator. While attending Cal Poly Pomona, he was in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program. After two years of the program, he felt like he was being called to do something else. Eventually, at Cal Poly Pomona, he earned his Liberal Studies degree and spent an extra year to complete his Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. As soon as Johnny graduated he received a job offer in Watsonville, California (near San Jose). After two years, Johnny earned an opportunity to teach for Arcadia Christian School. He is thrilled and excited to be a part of a great school that puts God first over anything else. "The students of ACS are always chasing after God's heart. They have the utmost respect toward their teachers and peers. Students work hard to give themselves a great education to better prepare them for their academic future," says Johnny Dich. Growing up I always found math difficult. I couldn't understand how to find "x." Then, oneday afer multiple hours of hard work and afterschool help, it all made sense. It clicked. He is currently teaching Jr. High Math, Physical Education and serves as the Football and Basketball Coach. Mr. Dich says, "I'm here to help students like math and to do that I will do my best to make these concepts accessible to all students." He loves teaching his classes and accepts the challenge of preparing the young minds that he teaches for their future.
